The Partnership for Responsible Addressable Media, which is a ecosystem effort supported by 4A’s, ANA, IAB, IAB Tech Lab, NAI, and WFA, defines a cross-publisher identifier as an "Addressable Media Identifier" (AMI).

Each person likely has more than a single AMI, given some identifiers are associated only with pseudonymous identifiers (like most third-party cookies), cross-device (like hashed email solutions) or alternately linked to someone's offline identity (Personally Identifiable Information).
