Anonymous data is information no longer linked to Personal Data. The anonymization process removes all identifiers from data. A common example of anonymized data is when it is when the input data is made available only as a summarized, aggregated output metric.

Regulator Perspectives

Anonymous data cannot be linked to an individual, and as such is often excluded from data protection regulations.[1],[2]
